RTW VI Emptiness Men
Emptiness is a brand new idea generated from the schizophrenic lifestyle of Hong Kong middle-classes. People possess many things yet still find their life void of meanings. They were lost in the material world suffocated by broken relationships, distorted values and virtual promises.
This collection is divided into day-night sessions. Glowing yarns were injected into the fabric to make every piece shine through darkness. In reverse, the human body was made invisible to represent the gone of spirit. The patterns and cuttings are also a reflection of building façade renown in Hong Kong. This brand new SS14 collection were showcased at interstoff – Fabrics to Fashion Walk on September 25 (Wed), and invited to exhibit at roomsLINK Tokyo in mid-October.
